Record-keeping

  • An occupational pension scheme's membership record database is needed to calculate benefits, produce annual benefit statements, produce risk broking schedules and ascertain the scheme's liabilities as a whole.  We continually keep these objectives in mind when setting up and maintaining a pension scheme membership database.

Benefit Calculations

  • We appreciate that the value which members place on their occupational pension scheme can be undermined if there is an unnecessary delay in producing benefit calculations or responding to queries.  We therefore set our response targets accordingly.

Benefit Statements

  • Annual Benefit statements can be an important part of the communication exercise necessary to ensure that members understand and value their benefit entitlements under the employer's pension scheme.  We therefore place a strong emphasis on the design and timely production of such statements.
